LIMITED LIFETIME LABOR WARRANTY PROVIDED BY MNRC
Who is covered?
In addition to any other warranty*, or warranties, that may apply to Your roofing or siding restoration project, and without limiting or excluding any of provisions of the same, when MNRC performs roofing or siding restoration on Your home, MNRC’s Limited Lifetime Labor Warranty covers You** for as long as You own the home.
What is covered?
MNRC’s Limited Lifetime Labor Warranty provides that the Work will be performed in a timely, diligent, competent, and professional manner free from defects in the workmanship contributed by MNRC or its subcontractor(s) to the roofing and siding renovations performed on Your home that are part of the home improvement contract.
What does the warranty provide?
MNRC will provide all labor and like kind and quality materials reasonably required to repair or replace, at MNRC’s sole discretion and expense, roofing or siding that was not installed according to building code, manufacturer’s specifications, and ordinary construction standards for as long as You live in the home.
What do I do if I have a claim?
Within six months of Your discovery of a workmanship defe ct, notify MNRC at the address or phone number listed on Your contract. MNRC will inspect Your home within 30 days of Your notice and, within 15 days of the inspection, provide You with a written plan to fix the defect.
What do I do if I have a claim?
This Warranty applies to the original contracting party during the time they own the home and is not assignable or transferable without the written consent ofMNRC, which may be withheld for any reason at its sole discretion.
-This Warranty covers defects in installation labor only and does not cover defective materials. Your warranty for defective materials and the labor needed to replace them is limited to the manufacturer’s warranties.
-All work under this Warranty must be performed by MNRC. Work performed by any other person voids this Warranty.
* For complete statutory (state mandated) warranty details and limitations, if any, please refer to the specific warranty documents that MNRC has provided to You to the extent that they may apply as part of the home improvement or repair contract.
** Covered persons are limited to the parties listed on the original home improvement contract
-Does not include ordinary wear, tear, or depreciation.
-The exclusive remedy for repair or replacement of defective materials will be the manufacturer’s warranty; labor required for the repair or replacement of defective materials is not included in the Limited Lifetime Labor Warranty.
-This Warranty excludes damage resulting from Your failure to perform reasonable and necessary maintenance.
-This Warranty does not include the repair or replacement of undamaged material when an exact match for materials being replaced due to defective installation is not available, including inability to match cause by fading or discoloration due to age or weather.
-This Warranty is limited to repair or replacement of the materials installed by MNRC and specifically excludes any incidental or consequential damage.
-Costs required to comply with building or construction codes that were not applicable at the time the original Work was performed are not covered by this Warranty and remain Your responsibility.
-There are no warranties, express or implied, as to merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose except as explicitly stated in the home improvement contract. MNRC hereby disclaims all warranties, express or implied, contract claims, negligence claims, and all other claims for which you have not provided written notice within six (6) months form the date of discovery of the problem and which have not been fully resolved within six (6) months from the date You notified MNRC.
MNRC’s Limited Lifetime Labor Warranty provides you with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that we stand behind our work for as long as you own your home.
